ASSESSMENT OF GLYCOSYLATED HEMOGLOBIN (HbA1c) IN THE PATIENTS OF DIABETES MELLITUS OF JHARKHAND: AN ANALYSIS

भारत एक कृषि प्रधान देश है जहाँ की लगभग 70 प्रतिषत जनता कृषि कार्य करती है। बढ़ती हुई जनसंख्या तथा भूमि की उत्पादन दर कम होने के कारण कभी-कभी भोजन की पूर्ति की समस्या गंभीर रूप धारण कर लेती है। भारत में खाद्य पदार्थों का कम उत्पादन होने का दूसरा कारण यह भी है कि यहाँ अधिकतर लोगों की काम करने की क्षमता कम है क्योंकि वे असंतुलित एवं कम पोषण आहार के ऊपर निर्भर रहते हैं अतः स्वास्थय ठीक न रहने से उनकी कार्य करने की क्षमता भी कम होती है। इस प्रकार स्वस्थ्य जीवन के लिए सन्तुलित एवं पोषक आहार जरूरी है।

Aloe vera is India’s most favorite herbal medicinal plant that is require low maintenance and easy to grow. The name of aloe is derived from Arabic word “Alloeh” meaning a shining bitter substance. Aloe vera belongs to the family Asphodelaceae (liliaceae) (Ghazanfar, 1994). It grows mainly in the dry regions of Africa, Asia, Europe and America. In India, it is found in Rajasthan, Andhra Pradesh, Gujrat, Maharashtra, and Tamil Nadu. Aloe vera is popular in Ayurvedic medicine (Richard, 2005). There are more than 300 species of aloe plants. This plant has yellow flower the leaves are arranged in rosette configuration. They are triangular and spear like and have thorny ridges. Aloe vera is a customary, dry spell dispute, sticky plant.

This study is about people in their formative years. It is about their beliefs and practices. It is about their personality and how it relates to their beliefs. It involves empirical investigation of 1800 college going men (882) and women (918) with an average age of about 20 years. The subjects are predominantly Hindu (85%), with 12% Christian and 3% Muslim student attending colleges in Visakhapatnam urban area. Data were collected from them using the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) and the two specially developed questionnaires that survey religiosity and paranormal beliefs and experiences. Paranormal beliefs and experiences surveyed included sacred as well as secular beliefs, experiences, and practices. While several studies in the West attempted to explore the relationships between personality, paranormal beliefs and religious practices and experiences, there are hardly any investigations in non-Judeo-Christian cultures. The present study can help by throwing light on the cross-cultural relevance of these findings
