A part of a total energy of a system is converted in to work and the rest is unavailable. Any kind of work which is converted into useful work is called as available energy. Energy which cannot be converted into useful work is known as unavailable energy which is represented as Entropy function. Isothermally available energy of a system is known as free energy (Gibb‘s Free energy)
