ECOLOGICAL NATIONALISM IN INDIA

This book presents an ecological dimension to the intellectual history of modern India. This process is done at two levels: firstly, it explores the ecological dimension to the cultural-spiritual centric nationalist thought in general and the Hindu cultural nationalist thought in particular and secondly it analyses the ecological dimension to the ideas and philosophy of Deendayal Upadhyaya. These ideas offer a transcendental outlook on the relationship between human beings and natural world.
